Helping Undergraduates to Careers in Health & Biomedical Sciences
The 2026-2027 Medical Scholars Program (MSP) application is projected to open on September 25. To apply, hover over the "Applying" tab on the banner at the top of this page and select "Application" from the drop-down menu. Once you create or log in to your account, select the appropriate program application and follow the instructions. The priority application deadline is October 23, 2026, at 11:59 pm. The final application deadline is October 30 at 11:59 pm.
Eligibility
The Medical Scholars Program is open to all UC Riverside undergraduate students preparing for health careers.
Incoming transfer, first and second-year students who are first-generation to college, economically disadvantaged, graduates of an Inland Southern California high school, or demonstrate commitment to Inland Southern California communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
