  • Health Career Connection
Health Career Connection (HCC) inspires and empowers undergraduate students, recent graduates and HCC alumni to successfully pursue health careers. We connect talented, diverse individuals to health employers and graduate schools in health professions.
  • Riverside Free Clinic (RFC)
RFC is a nonprofit organization that provides free interdisciplinary health and wellness care to the underserved population of the Inland Empire while providing an effective training environment for future healthcare professionals and leaders dedicated to serving the Inland Empire.
  • California Postbaccalaureate Consortium (for premedical students)
The UC Postbaccalaureate Consortium is a partnership of postbaccalaureate premedical programs at the University of California Schools of Medicine that works to increase the number of physicians who practice in shortage areas of California, by assisting capable and dedicated students from disadvantaged backgrounds in gaining admission to medical school.
  • Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP)
The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP) offers a medical preparatory program to students from rural areas, who are economically disadvantaged, or from groups that have historically received substandard health care regardless of their racial or ethnic background. It focuses on students in the first two years of their college education because the experience of previous programs indicates that this is when students derive the most benefit.
  • Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Enrichment Program (PREP)
UCLA PREP is a six-week non-residential program designed to provide premedical and pre-dental students from disadvantaged backgrounds with a means of strengthening their ability and readiness to study medicine or dentistry. As a result of full participation in UCLA PREP, participants should have enhanced their chances of being accepted to medical or dental school and succeeding once there.
